Leona is the founder and owner of Flush Wellness Center which is located in the heart of Montclair NJ.

She has been a certified colon hydro-therapist for over 12 years and is a graduate from the Wood Colonic Hygienic Institute in Kissimmee Florida. Leona also holds certification as a Holistic Nutritionist from AFPA- American Fitness Professionals & Associates and has successfully completed training at Laura Norman Wellness Center in Manhattan for reflexology.

Leona’s journey in health and fitness is lifelong and began early on in childhood. Growing up in the Caribbean her parents and grandparents taught her about the benefits of consuming bitter herbs and teas used for body cleansing, traditionally known as “De Purge". At the time “De Purge” was more of an inconvenience. It wasn’t until later in life that these lessons would be fully appreciated.

In her late teen years Leona became passionate about exercise and became an aerobic instructor at Lucille Roberts and Bally Total Fitness. She quickly learned how diet and exercise are critical to maintaining a healthy body and mind. For her, years of teaching aerobics was the opening to the gateway of different exercise modalities including Pilates and weight training.

As an adult Leona put it all together and learned the benefits of living a vegetarian/vegan plant based life-style. She incorporates a consistent protocol of special juice blends, smoothies, herbs and supplements into her diet. Eventually Leona would discover the importance of gut health and colonics. Colon hydrotherapy had a direct positive impact on her health and energy levels and is proud to have the opportunity to share her knowledge and services so others can achieve their wellness goals.

Leona combines colon hydrotherapy and reflexology with the use of essential oils to help detoxify the body and the services she provides are second to none.
